What is a personality disorder?
A personality disorder is defined as long-term patterns of behavior and inner experiences that significantly differ from what is expected. Personality disorders affect at least two of the following areas: Way of thinking about oneself and others, way of responding emotionally,and way of relating to other people.
There are three clusters of personality disorders; Cluster A, Cluster B, and Cluster C.
Cluster A is classified as odd/eccentric traits.
Cluster B is classifed as unpredictable, dramatic, or intensely emotional responses to things.
Cluster C is classified as anxious and fearful.
